Welcome back, or for the first time, to the Art Smart website! A huge thank you to everyone who is volunteering, we could not have this wonderful program without all of our amazing volunteers!
All of the lesson plans are on the website in PDF format as well as hard copies in the Art Smart closets. This year we will be working to make sure all the hard copies are streamlined and have the new cover page for easy identification. Most lessons should have an easy to use outline of the information, if you happen to come across one that does not, please type one up and send it to me so I can add it to the system. We are very excited to focus on the PROJECT aspect of Art Smart this year. We will be looking to clean up the project binders and make sure all the information and examples in them are relevant to current lessons. This is where we will need everyones help! We are asking for feedback on any projects that you felt didn’t work well and most importantly, if you created a new project or did something different to please share that information with us so we can add it in. It’s also a good idea to contact leads and volunteers in the other classes of your grade level if you are doing a new project, so they have the option as well. This helps everyone! We are looking forward to another great year of Art Smart! Please contact us with any questions! Erin Mullen & Bridget Weber [email protected] [email protected]

First and foremost thank you for volunteering your time to help out with Art Smart this year. Some of you only have a year under your belt while others have been doing Art Smart for 6! We appreciate you and the time you put forth to the program!
Please find projects and information here, on our new and hopefully improved, Art Smart Website! PDF files for K - 5th can be found on their respective pages. We have added a cover sheet this year to each project which will call out the grade, month, theme and works covered. We are also working to make sure each pdf packet of information has an outline page to streamline your presentation. Some months do not have an outline yet and we ask that when you make one for that month that you please send it to us so we can add it to the website for years going forward. Art smart is an ever changing, organic process so if you have new thoughts, ideas and projects that you found were successful, please share with us so we can share with everyone! For 6th grade projects we are working toward moving all the presentations to power points, which seems to work well with that age group. Again, some of these are already created and some will need some work. As they are completed we will upload them to the site. Thank you again, and please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions or comments! - Erin Mullen & Bridget Weber For questions concerning Grades K-3, please contact Bridget Weber at: [email protected] For questions concerning Grades 4-6, please contact Erin Mullen at: [email protected] |
